Creating a Learning Environment for Success
Meyer and Rhoades (2006) stated, "the ultimate goal of all educators is to improve the quality of life of the individuals" (p.85). Teachers have responsibilities to care for their students and provide them with skills and knowledge they will need to succeed in life; contribute positively to the society and continue to improve their quality of life. It is one of the most important and influential profession to be able to educate the next generations to come, and at the same time, it puts tremendous pressures and responsibilities on teachers to create an environment for success where students can flourish. There are so many things to consider in order to create such an environment; physical space, cultures for learning, positive and safe atmosphere, cultivation of discipline, and fostering teamwork.
